Shawn Dalmas

Shawn Dalmas is a Kenyan media entrepreneur and digital creator who has turned an online following into a company. Born in Mombasa in 2005, he founded and leads Dalmas Creations Limited, a Nairobi-based media and communications firm that helps brands connect with audiences through content creation, marketing and storytelling. His own content focuses on confidence, personal growth, entrepreneurship and youth empowerment.

Beyond client work, Shawn launched Inspire With Shawn Dalmas, a conversation series and podcast that features entrepreneurs, creatives and leaders. He speaks openly about integrity in the creator economy, urging fellow creators to decline brand deals that clash with their values instead of chasing every paycheque. In 2025 he was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the NaBLA Awards, an honour he credited to the work of Dalmas Creations.

His leadership record began early. While at Lukenya Sixth Form Institute he served as college president, and he was the charter president of the Interact Club of Lukenya before going on to serve as vice president of the Rotary Club of Athi Kapiti. He has also been involved with The Empowerment Network, which supports education, healthcare and financial literacy. Shawn describes his journey as one of stubborn belief: many people doubted that someone so young could build a serious business, and he kept going anyway, treating every milestone as the start of harder work.
